Cockpit for BMC Speedmachine – Built for Roth 2027
When it comes to long-course racing, cockpit design can make a major difference to both comfort and performance. This custom one-piece cockpit for a BMC triathlon bike was developed with one clear goal in mind: create a sleek, slim and lightweight front-end solution tailored specifically to the rider as they build towards Roth 2027.

BMC Cockpit – Built for Roth 2027
This custom one-piece cockpit was designed for a BMC triathlon bike with one goal in mind: create a sleek, slim and lightweight front end tailored specifically to the rider for Roth 2027.
Rather than adapting the rider to an off-the-shelf cockpit, the entire system was designed around their position, fit requirements, comfort and race-day needs.
The cockpit features a streamlined one-piece body with integrated forearm support, extensions, hydration mounting and an adjustable computer mount. Everything is positioned to keep the front end clean and functional while giving the rider the support required for long-course racing.
The cockpit is manufactured from carbon fibre reinforced nylon, providing a strong and rigid structure while keeping overall weight and bulk to a minimum.
Comfort was also a major part of the design. Arm support, extension position and hand placement were all developed around the rider’s preferred aero position, helping create a setup they can comfortably hold for extended periods.
The finished result is a clean, integrated cockpit built specifically for the rider and their BMC — combining fit, comfort, integration and performance into one custom system.
