Refunds, Returns, Warranty & Cancellation Policy
1. Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled before they enter production or before they have been dispatched.
Approved cancellations will incur a 5% payment processing fee. This fee helps cover payment processing fees, administration time and handling costs incurred when an order is placed and then cancelled.
Once an order has entered production, been printed, customised, post-processed, packed or dispatched, cancellation may no longer be possible.
For custom orders, made-to-measure parts, or parts designed specifically for a customer’s setup, cancellations may not be accepted once design work, printing or production has started.
2. Order Changes
Please check your order carefully before submitting it.
Changes to an order may not always be possible once the order has been placed. If changes are requested after ordering, Slipstream 3D will do its best to assist, however changes may delay production or dispatch.
If an order needs to be cancelled and reordered due to incorrect product selection, incorrect measurements, or customer-requested changes, the standard 5% payment processing fee may apply.
3. Returns
Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, provided the item is:
unused
uninstalled
undamaged
in original condition
returned with all included hardware, parts and accessories
Return postage is at the customer’s expense unless the return is required due to a confirmed fault, incorrect item, or another issue covered by Australian Consumer Law.
Returned items will be inspected once received. If the item shows signs of use, installation marks, damage, missing parts, modification, or wear, the return may be refused or only partially refunded.
Custom-made, made-to-order, or modified items may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns unless approved by Slipstream 3D.
4. Refunds For Approved Returns
If a return is approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method.
Refunds for change-of-mind returns, incorrect order submissions, or non-faulty returns will be calculated as follows:
Refund amount = product price paid, less original shipping costs and less a 5% payment processing fee.
Original shipping costs are not refundable for change-of-mind returns, incorrect product selection, incorrect order submissions, or other non-faulty returns.
The 5% payment processing fee helps cover transaction fees, payment processing costs and the administration involved in processing the order and return.
5. Warranty / Faulty Items
Slipstream 3D stands behind the quality of its products.
If your item arrives with a genuine manufacturing defect, material defect, or has been damaged during delivery, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number, clear photos, and a description of the issue.
For accepted warranty claims, our standard remedy is a replacement part or reprint. Refunds are not provided for standard warranty claims where a replacement can reasonably resolve the issue.
This does not limit any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law. Products sold in Australia come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded, and the available remedy may depend on whether the issue is minor or major. The ACCC states that businesses also have the right to assess a product before providing a remedy.
Warranty does not cover:
incorrect measurements supplied by the customer
incorrect product selection
change of mind
normal wear and tear
crash, impact, or misuse damage
incorrect installation
overtightening bolts or exceeding recommended torque
modification, sanding, drilling, or alteration of the part
use outside the product’s intended cycling application
damage caused by incompatible accessories, bottle cages, bolts, or hardware not supplied by Slipstream 3D
Customers are responsible for checking fitment, bolt engagement, bottle cage security and general installation before riding.
6. Incorrect Measurements Or Customer-Supplied Details
Many Slipstream 3D products are made based on customer-supplied measurements, bike model details, cockpit type, saddle type, arm cup spacing, bolt spacing and other fitment information.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all supplied information is accurate before placing an order.
If a product is made correctly based on the details provided, but those details were incorrect, this is not considered a product fault. In these cases, a replacement, remake or modification may be offered at an additional cost.
7. Shipping Issues
Once a parcel has been dispatched, it is in the care of the postal or courier service.
Slipstream 3D is not responsible for delays caused by postal services, couriers, customs, import processing, or incorrect shipping details provided by the customer.
If a parcel is delayed, lost, or affected by a delivery issue, Slipstream 3D will do its best to assist with tracking information or a carrier enquiry where appropriate.
If an order is returned to sender due to an incorrect address, failed delivery, refusal to accept delivery, unpaid customs/import charges, or failure to collect the parcel, the customer may be responsible for any additional shipping costs required to resend the order.
8. Return Process
To request a return, cancellation or warranty assessment, please contact Slipstream 3D first.
